Confessions of a Shopaholic is one of my favorite book series and movies. I just laugh along with all of Becky Bloomwood's shopping woes. Sometimes I feel I can relate to her reasoning as to why she absolutely needs make a purchase. At one point, she thinks to herself that this green scarf will change her life and that people will think of her as "the girl in the green scarf".

I'm not going to lie. I have had the same thought process before - "If I buy this handbag, pair of shoes or dress, it will change my life." Some of my favorite purchases have made life much easier, such as my beloved Uggs, nude heals, a great trench and a fabulous-looking work bag.
I ask, "What have you bought that has changed your life?" I'm sure there is something.
Continuing with my Green Glam - Everyone looks good in green, so why not glam it up this Saturday? Milk it for all its worth and deck yourself out.

Only two more days until St. Patrick's Day!

I have a green crush for sure right now - and I love that series too, although as always I liked the book better than the movie :-)
ReplyDeleteThat part of the book cracked me up... "the girl with the green scarf". Haha! I have absolutely no green in my closet... I need to go shopping! Maybe I'll get a scarf.
ReplyDeleteI feel like a need to go shopping too. Need more green glam!
DeleteAhhh, one of my favorite book series! I actually just bought a green scarf and every time I wear it, I think of Becky! I usually laugh to myself about that! To answer your question...yes, I have made at least two purchases recently that have indeed changed my life...I think you just inspired a blog post! :)
